NGS Service—Apollo 324 Liquid Handler

The main reason for using next-generation sequencing is the effective reduction in turnaround time with NGS compared to traditional methods. At the same time, next-generation sequencing makes it possible to analyze the transcriptome and genome of a species in a detailed and holistic way. CD Genomics offers a growing range of services, from library construction to sequencing to complete experimental design and support. Our Apollo 324 Liquid Handler-based next-generation sequencing technology can help you advance genome engineering innovation.

Name of the Instrument/Technicial Service

Apollo 324 Liquid Handler

Summary

The Apollo 324 liquid handling instrument is dedicated to PrepX reagent kits to prepare DNA and RNA Next Generation Sequencing libraries. The instrument can process 1-8 to 32 samples per fun. It is capable of performing in-tip library reactions and magnetic bead-based cleanups to eliminate DNA cross contamination.
In addition to library preparation (end repair, A-tailing, and Illumina adapter ligation), the instrument is programmed to perform cDNA synthesis of total RNA as well as post-PCR DNA bead cleanups for use with any application.
