Gene expression refers to the conversion of the genetic information stored in DNA sequences into biologically active protein molecules during the life process of cells through transcription and translation. The normal expression of genes can enable DNA to play a hereditary role and show specific epigenetic traits. Depending on the experimental platform and technical background, CD Genomics uses Affymetrix GeneChip Workstation Applications to provide you with gene expression services.
Specifications
1. The Core maintains hybridization oven 640 for chip hybridization.
2. The Core maintains a Fluidics Station 450 for staining and washing.
3. The Core maintains a Scanner 3000 with upgrade for tiling arrays.
1. The workstation is utilized for services provided by us for Affymetrix gene chip hybridization, washing, and scanning.
2. This is a service provided by our staff and the equipment is not available for customer use.
